Eli is a dedicated student to the path of truth, looking to uncover the true nature of the heart. He is a long-time meditation practitioner and has spent intensive time in silent retreats, he has also studied the shamanic traditions deeply and has lived in the Amazon jungle. For over a decade, he has been supporting the tribes to share their healing work. Eli is the founder of The Nature Within which offers week-long Ancestral medicine retreats in Blue Spirit, Costa Rica with the Ingano lineage of Taitas whom he has worked for the past ten years. His life intention is to bring these sacred healing tools to all beings in order to support the collective awakening of human beings.
Taita Juan Chindoy is a medicine man, healer, and botanist born in the Condagua indigenous reservation in the Putumayo jungle of Colombia. Taita Juan was born in the Inga community, where he learned their traditional botanical remedies. Later, he began his study of plant medicines with the elders of the Siona tribe. Taita Juan was recognized at a young age as a wisdom carrier of his tribes. Since then, he has dedicated his life to serving mankind and delivering the teachings of his ancestors in their purest form. He guides us on a journey in which we can return to our essence and see that all is spirit,
Sathya is a breathwork facilitator, she has trained in transformational breathwork and has guided sessions with over a hundred people over the last 3 years. Nowadays she offers her own sessions which have a combination of active breath, bodywork, somatic exercise, and meditation, to make a complete journey. These practices have a profound impact as a direct way to connect to one’s body-mind and spirit. As she has worked alongside the medicine her sessions have evolved with the intention of having a tool for preparation and integration in Ancestral Plant Medicine retreats.
Mishy Matthews is a Modern Day Medicine Woman, Certified Transformational Coach, and Energy Alchemist for those on the path of empowerment who want to align with their intuition and unleash their inner magic. Some of her areas of expertise include Certified Mastery Coach, Certified in the Transformational Coaching Method, Certified Holistic Health Coach, Emotion Code Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Licensed Massage Therapist. Drawing from this multitude of tools and her years of work with the Medicine & the Taitas, she assists her brothers and sisters to shift their energy, and live in joyful alignment with life.
Carolina has dedicated her life to being in service. Since 2004, she has been working with non-profit organizations to manage humanitarian and social development projects. In 2012, she moved to Santa Teresa on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast to initiate the Nicoya Peninsula Waterkeeper Organization. Carolina is a Flower Essence Therapist, EFT-Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner and Reiki Master. She has worked with the medicine since 2016 and is honored to support the deep healing work that the Taitas are sharing with the world.
